Israel welcomed 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from the year before. It is so thrilling to once again see an increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking numbers for the year 2019, stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. The United States is our most popular destination for tourism to Israel and prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, we were celebrating record-breaking tourist numbers month after month; We're extremely pleased to witness an improvement in the trend and anticipate a steady increase in the coming many months and years to come.
